Not who
you’d expect.
exactly who you need.

For women caught in confusing relationship patterns who have searched for answers but still find themselves pulled back into doubt.

I help women understand what is happening, especially when part of them already knows something is wrong but cannot hold onto what they know once the pressure returns.

There’s a moment most women never say out loud.

“I know the advice people are giving me makes sense.

I still can’t do it.
So I think the problem is me.
So I stop telling people.
And I feel alone.”

If that feels familiar, the work is not about forcing a decision. It is about seeing the pattern clearly enough that you stop turning the confusion back on yourself.

I am John Craig, founder of The Override Method®.

My background is in coaching, with a Postgraduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching at Master’s level, alongside years of providing high-level client care within therapeutic settings.

But the deeper reason this work exists is more personal.

For years, I was the kind of man women could not quite read. Charming when it suited me. Distant when it mattered. Warm enough to keep connection alive, but unavailable enough to avoid real accountability.

I understand those patterns because I once lived inside them.

For years, I found myself asking the same question: why do intelligent women talk themselves out of what they already sense? Long before The Override Method® had a name, I was trying to understand that.

When I finally saw what my actions had cost, really saw it, it stayed with me in a way I could not shake. I didn’t look away. I took the behaviours apart slowly, piece by broken piece. I learned exactly how they worked: what kept people attached, what made clarity collapse even when something in them had already noticed the pattern.

I also saw the gap so many women were falling into.

They could spend years in therapy, coaching, and other forms of support, gain insight, feel steadier for a while, and still find the same confusion returning once the pressure of the relationship returned.

The support had value. But insight alone did not always hold once the pressure returned.

That became my life’s mission. Not just to change myself, but to build something from that wreckage that would help others.

And the work has shown me something again and again.

Composure is not the same as clarity.

A woman can appear composed, articulate, and successful, while privately feeling confused, destabilised, and unsure what to trust inside the relationship.

Most women who arrive here are not lacking intelligence. They are caught between what they have already noticed and what pressure keeps making them question.

The Override Method® was built for that gap.

When you can see the pattern without being repeatedly pulled away from your own judgement, it stops feeling so mysterious. The decision becomes easier to trust, and clarity no longer depends on someone else confirming what you already sense.

This work matters because clarity can change more than one relationship. It can change what a woman tolerates, what she normalises and what she passes forward.

And confusion does not usually disappear because you wait longer.

You do not have to arrive ready to make a decision. You may only know that the confusion is starting to cost you too much.

No pressure. Just the clarity to trust your own judgement again.
